Cross-Cultural Understanding in the Classroom


 This lesson incorporates language arts, social studies and computers to examine different

cultural stories.  Students will start by researching a story from their cultural background,

share these stories with their classmates and celebrate a variety of cultural traditions.

Through an Elder's Eyes

 

The goal of this project is to produce a community archive, which will consist of real history, personal

history and mythic history.  Students will collect the information through papers and interviewing

community members.  The guide was designed designed for the Tataskweyak Cree Nation.
